Draw length from pivot point shall be designed at DLPP and shall be called true draw length. It is of the at most importance that the user have their draw length measured by a competent archery pro shop prior to purchasing these arrows. Proper arrow length fit is critical to the safe operation of these SLASH® INsetBlade® arrows. Never draw the INsetBlade® deployable blades past your bow holding hand or the arrow rest. Failure to follow these instructions may result in property damage, serious injury.

Because this arrow contains the unique INsetBlade® deployable blades, keep the Retention O-ring, SLASH® INsetBlade® deployable blades, and the broadhead in front of the hand holding the bow and the arrow rest. Make sure the Retention O-ring is in place over the INsetBlade® deployable blades. NEVER draw the INsetBlade® deployable blades beyond your arrow rest. Failure to follow these instructions may result in property damage, serious injury.

AMO DRAW LENGTH

A Beginner’s Estimate, based on the height of the archer:

27" draw - 5'4 - 5'8

28" draw - 5'8 - 5'10

29" draw - 5'10- 6'0        Most Common

30" draw - 6'0- 6'1

31" draw - 6'1 - 6'2.

If not certain, order one inch longer.  This will not affect the flight of the arrow. Every Archer and bow set-up can have a slightly different draw.  It is best to refer to the AMO draw length chart above.  You can also order UNCUT, and cut arrows from rear and fletch.

If you currently shoot an arrow that is 28 or 29 inches and the Broadhead tip is in front of your hand holding the bow, you should order a Slash Arrow with a 28 draw. If your current arrow is 29 inches order a Slash Arrow for a 29 draw. Many times your current arrows have been cut a half inch longer that your draw! So a 28.5 inch arrow is often a 28 draw.

Can I use an arrow that is not specific to my draw length?

No, Always select the proper arrow for your bow. Arrows are intended to be used only with bows with a specific pull weight and draw length. These SLASH® INsetBlade® arrows have been sized to fit specific draw lengths. Do not cut to length or modify these arrows.
